About

I currently work as a Technology Integration Specialist and Computer Science Teacher at an independent K-12 girls’ school.  I spent 12 years as an English teacher, however, and many of those years were in interdisciplinary programs, so I–first and foremost–think of myself as an educator, and tend to rebel against the tradition of dividing academic knowledge into discrete disciplines. It’s all about learning, growing, and advancing ourselves as a species. I blog about “learning, technology, reform” but you probably won’t find any posts about how to use wikis or pocket video cameras in the classroom. I write about the myriad ideas stewing in my head and will openly disclose now that many of the posts will likely seem unfinished. Feel free to comment; I value conversation.
